Support GroupsBecome a LeaderThank you for your interest in the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation. We are very excited that you are considering starting and facilitating a support group in your area. The RLS Foundation has over 100 support groups throughout the US and Canada, however, large areas and even entire states are still without local support. Please check our Support Group Directory to see if there is a group in your area. If there is and you are interested in getting involved, contact the leader listed. If there is not a group near you, then you have come to the right place. The Foundation needs your help!

If, after reading the brochure, you still have more questions, please call the RLS Foundation (507-287-6465) or send us an email (rlsfoundation@rls.org). We'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have. Once you decide you would like to become a leader, there are three pieces of information we will need from you. Please download and complete the: After downloading and printing each of these documents, please return them to the RLS Foundation. Please be sure to include two references that are familiar with your work. The last step of the application process is a quick phone conversation where we can answer any questions or concerns that you might have and just get to know you a little better.
Once you complete the application and interview process, you will be able to take part in an "Orientation Session" and receive a Support Group Leader Manual full of information to make your job as the support group leader as easy as possible.
