Voice Chat Program

** Voice chat is temporarily down. It will be up and running as soon as a new voice chat moderator is trained. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact dhindaw@rls.org with any questions. **

The RLS Foundation is excited to announce a new opportunity for anyone living with RLS. Thanks to a volunteer who has stepped forward to help initiate this new program, you now have the opportunity to talk to other members for free from the comfort of your own home. If you desire more support for your chronic RLS and would like to get that support without having to leave the house, we have just the opportunity for you!

By using the free voice chat software along with the RLS Foundation’s private online meeting space, you can talk to others for free from all around the country as though they were in your living room (without having to clean up the house beforehand!) You can go to the meeting space any time but the official meeting time is every Thursday at 7:00pm Pacific, 8:00pm Mountain, 9:00pm CST, 10:00pm EST.

Sound confusing? We can help make it simpler. If you have a computer and access to the Internet, you can join in. The only additional piece of equipment you will need is a headset which can be found for about $15.00 You can follow this link for more information.

In addition, Dr. Mark J. Buchfuhrer MD has agreed to host a meeting via this new software on July 10, 2008 at 7:00pm pacific, 8:00pm mountain, 9:00pm central, 10:00pm eastern time. Click here to download directions for a visual or the written tutorial and the IP address necessary to connect:

For help with this program or to receive email updates about the meeting with Dr. Buchfuhrer, send an email to voicechat@rlsgroups.org.

We hope to talk to you soon!
